Orleans Cardinals
Baseball! The Orleans Cardinals team is hot - leading the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2004. Great for the kids and a fun summer evening on the Cape. Home games are played at Eldredge Park in Orleans.
Access to the rail train is just 7/10 of a mile from the house.

Cape Cod Rail Trail
The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a paved bikeway that runs 28 miles from South Dennis to Wellfleet. The terrain is relatively flat, with some minor grades at certain sections in the Lower and Outer Cape areas, specifically Orleans and Wellfleet. It offers the most variety in scenery and natural Cape landscapes available of all the regional bike routes.

Nickerson State Park Network
Located off the Cape Cod Rail Trail in Brewster, Nickerson State Park contains eight miles of dedicated bike trails. Offering easy access to picnic area and campsites, this hilly and scenic network provides an enjoyable ride through beautiful pine and fir tree forests around ponds, lakes and bogs.

National Seashore - Nauset Marsh Trail
Starting at the gateway to the National Seashore, the Nauset Marsh Trail runs 1.5 miles into National Seashore acreage once inhabited by the Nauset Indian tribe and early Cape Cod settlers. Ending at Coast Guard Beach, the trail here provides a panoramic vista of the Atlantic Ocean

Eldridge Park is a postcard of how baseball used to be - green grass, red clay diamond and dedicated fans. Sports Illustrated called Eldridge Park one of the best amateur baseball parks in the world. Many current Major League players once played here, including Red Sox MVP Mo Vaughn.

This playground, constructed of sturdy pressure-treated wood, offers a fantastic time for kids of all ages. It sports swing sets, slides, and more. Located behind the Elementary School on Eldridge Parkway.

French Cable Museum
From just before the turn of the century until 1940 this building served as a cable outpost transmitting international news to France. Now a museum, it exhibits the same antique equipment. Located on Cove Road off Route 28.

Town Cove
A (literally) hidden town treasure, this tranquil cove moors over 100 vessels at different times of the year. A beautiful scenic area, it is surrounded by affluent homes, yacht clubs and hotels. Located along Route 28 headed towards Chatham.

Cape Cod Museum of Natural History
